The problem
What needed solving
One of my campus clubs often offered rides to the meeting sites. However, coordinated rides involved more than just matching one passenger with one driver. Students needed a clear way to request and follow a ride.
The outcome
What shipped
The project resulted in a mobile prototype covering the student experience supported by a reusable and scalable interface system. Together, the flow and style guide established a foundation for testing and further iteration.

Process
So what happened?
Map
The experience was separated into three connected journeys: student, driver, and coordinator. Mapping each path made it easier to identify where information needed to pass between roles and where each person needed a focused view of the ride.
Explore
I gathered references from mobility products and interface systems, then explored how maps, status updates, requests, and trip details could work together in a mobile experience. The visual research helped establish a clear, energetic direction for the product.
Systemize
I then established the color palettes, button states, controls, typography, icons, and interface patterns in a dedicated style guide. This created a shared visual language that could stay consistent as each role-specific flow expanded.
